Contact support
Include your iOS version, Spend Check version, and the steps that led to the issue. Do not email financial records, receipt images, passwords, or other sensitive information.
iCloud backup
Backup is unavailable
Confirm that you are signed into iCloud on the device, iCloud Drive is enabled, and Spend Check is permitted to use iCloud. Then reopen the app.
Restore on another device
Use the same Apple Account, enable iCloud for Spend Check, and open the app. The app adopts a newer cloud backup when one is available.
Receipt scanning
Allow camera access when prompted. Place the receipt on a flat, well-lit surface and keep the merchant name and total visible. Recognition happens on your device; you can correct the suggested fields before saving.
Tip Jar purchases
Tips are one-time consumable purchases processed by Apple. They unlock no features. If a purchase is pending or fails, check your App Store payment status and try again later. Apple handles payment and refund requests.
Import and export
Use Profile → Export Data to create a CSV copy of your transactions. Keep exported files somewhere secure because they may contain sensitive financial information. Import Data accepts Spend Check’s CSV format.
Delete your data
Use Profile → Erase Wallet to remove the wallet from the device. To remove a backup, turn off iCloud Backup and delete Spend Check’s stored iCloud data through iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes its local data.
Spend Check has no developer-operated account or backend, so there is no separate server account to delete.
