PocketCheck Privacy Policy

PocketCheck is built to be private by design. The short version: your data never leaves your iPhone.

What PocketCheck stores — on your device only

• Item photos and stickers. Photos you take are processed on-device (Apple's Vision framework) and stored in the app's private container. They are never uploaded anywhere.
• Your Home boundary. The coordinate and radius you choose are stored on-device so iOS can tell the app when you cross it.
• Settings. Preferences such as alert sound and reminder scope.

Location

PocketCheck uses Apple's geofencing and visit monitoring so iOS can wake the app when you leave your Home boundary or a place where you stayed a while. Location readings are used in the moment to decide whether to show your checklist, then discarded. PocketCheck does not record your route, keep a location history, or transmit your location off the device.

What PocketCheck does not do

• No accounts, no sign-up, and no collection of names, emails, or contacts.
• No analytics or tracking SDKs, no advertising, and no data sharing with third parties.
• No data transmitted to our servers — we don't operate any.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We receive no payment details. Purchase state is verified on-device via Apple's StoreKit.

Data deletion

Settings → "Delete All PocketCheck Data" removes your items, photos, boundary, and pending notifications from the device. Deleting the app removes everything else.
